Alpha

Alpha is a ten-week opportunity to explore the validity and relevance of the Christian faith for our lives today. It is a practical introduction to the basics of Christianity with loads of opportunity for debate and discussion. The style of Alpha is informal, friendly and non-pressured - a style which seems to be appreciated in Canadian culture.  Check out the Alpha Canada website for more information; www.alphacanada.org

Community Connections

Here at the Cambridge Vineyard we recognize that we are on a personal journey seeking relationship with Jesus and with one another.  But there is something inside all of us that longs for a small group of people who we can be real and honest with as we learn to follow Jesus.
We call these groups kinships, so if you are looking for that certain small group that connects you with others, then Community Connections is for you!  You will learn and experience biblical community over a course of 10 weeks and will then be released to function as a kinship.

Focus Groups

Focus groups are short-term, study/interest groups that run anywhere from 2 – 13 sessions. While they provide teaching on certain subjects, the primary purpose is to provide a place where people can form relationships and experience community.

Plan to Protect

Everyone who teaches and helps care for children, youth and/or vulnerable adults under the auspices of the Cambridge Vineyard Christian Fellowship is screened and required to follow the systems and guidelines as defined in our Plan to Protect Manual. The Church Board has made this official policy.  The Plan to Protect course is a workshop which reviews all policies and procedures and equips our volunteers to create a safe environment for children, youth and vulnerable adults.

"V" Courses

V is our core discipleship process at the Cambridge Vineyard. It is a process built around our purpose as a church, and ultimately around the purpose of the Church given in the NewTestament.

V1
is the first step. V1’s focus is to help you integrate in to the life, fellowship and family of the Cambridge Vineyard. By looking at key components in the scriptures regarding who and what “church” is, we’ll explore the Cambridge Vineyard’s approach to fulfilling the commission Jesus gave to His Church in the world. As well, V1 focuses on establishing us in God’s love, as our primary need as a human being. Significant time is given to teaching on the Father heart of God toward us, and each attendee is given an opportunity to connect more fully with the life of the church family that we are.

V2
is the second step. V2’s focus is to help you grow in your life with God, and to deepen your day to day walk with him. Together we will explore the life of both biblical and contemporary people whose one desire was to ‘walk with God’. In doing this, we will discover some of the commonalities that these people shared in their pursuit after God’s heart. Our experience in V2 will be rounded off with experiencing some practices that cause our spirits to engage with the Spirit of God...practices that can be walked out in everyday life.

V3
is the third step in this process.  V3 draws us into the dance of relationship within the body of believers at the Cambridge Vineyard. We see that as we walk out relationships of intimacy and trust we discover our gifts and develop a life abundant with the fruit of the Spirit. “Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into Him who is the Head, that is Christ.” Eph 4:15
